I thought it would be neat if we had a works in progress section whereby we could post our works as we are create them. It would give us a small peek into each others creative processes and techniques. I, personally, work in both traditional and non- traditional ways so while most of my pieces end up looking cg, they may not always start out that way.
This piece is just a character I'm working on which was inspired by one of Brom's art pieces. I'm not sure if I will include it as a Sorche character or not, but anyway it was quickly sketched with my mouse.

Nice one, Warren. It's coming along nicely. Would be really cool if there was some foreshortening in this piece, but I guess that will come into play once you begin creating the effect of him actually carving up the ground?

thanks Darryl, tried the foreshortening the sword thing, looks a little wonky but I can fix that later, thinking about adding some menacing ninjas in the background, ninjas kick ass

yo chaz, wish I could get around to doing a tutuorial, thing is.. I dont really think im good enough to post one, and thats not me eating humble pie, thats really what I think, maybe one day.. in the distant future, when I think im good enough (which might be never)
