Just a warning to the members we may be forcing membership before you are able to download. The reason for this is the sudden surge of bandwidth usage to this server. I had my host look into it and they reported 400 people downloading from the site at one time. I certainly do not see that many people signed up  . So in order to control the bandwidth flow these restrictions may be put in place this month. Suggestions? Comments?

Let me reword what I dont like... I dont like the movies where the mouth barely matches the words, and I hate this "Oh shanalafoammea, where will our trinasourmanus go when he is shot by our pweblomenio gun" and then they transform into turtles. Its just not my type of animation

I mean of course I've seen a few things called Anime but there is so many things that look alike and the styles look alike but I have no clue what "exactly" is it? (yes I'm stupid)

(I see alot of similiar styles coming in here but only a few really look good however whether or not it's exactly considered Anime or not I have no idea)

As far as I knew...Anime is like : Sailor Moon, Pokemon, YuGiOh.... Manga is the cool stuff like: Ghost in the Shell, Ninja Scroll, Akira ....etc.... Manga is the more 'mature' oriented stuff and Anime is described as 'made for kids mostly'...

I dunno Chaz...kind of a double-edged sword....(but isn't everything?)....
I mean...it works great for WinCustomize... I had to make an account to get some great Logons... and then it turned into getting CursorXP, and then messing with IconPackager ... it attracted my attention all over the place within the site's confines since I had to sign in everytime just to download a pic.
Of course...it could kill business a bit...but I dunno- if I want a pic bad enough, I will do all sorts of crazy things to get it. (Of course..they have specieal names for my kind of crazy)...O_o
I think that a 'login to download' restriction isn't bad at all. I think it would be quite good.
That would certainly stop any future bandwidth problems...right?

Big Eyes Small Mouth (BESM) is a style of anime, or more precisely a characteristic of anime. Technically, the term "anime" most accurately describes the asian tv and movie animations (or film), from what I understand, and not actually just BESM drawings.
The lines of what is anime and what's not anime are becoming blurred nowadays. So many people are creating hybrid art techniques and bastardized versions of anime, that is hard say what a piece actually is. As I said, I tried to create my own style of the genre and was only semi successful. Then there is "manga", which resembles anime, but is mainly the complete opposite. If anime is the tv and film, then manga is the comic.
Oddly enough, I can stomach manga, but "cutesy anime" (ie; Sailor Moon, Pokemon) sucks.

Thanks you guys for explaining that, I thought I had an idea of it just that there is soooo many styles that seem so similiar to what I was assuming it was.
(just curious, I could care less what is or is not but rather what "seems" to look good "or" done pretty good that's all)
