Artist's Comment:
I was mooching over at Photobreed [ link ] when I spotted this awesome photo of a stone monument. Couple of days later, with lots of work in Photoshop and plenty of custom photography and I ended up with this. I really like the statue motif so I've decided to turn it into a series called 'They were here first' - so here's The Invariant Interval, the first produkt in that series. Hope you like it. If you do, please comment.

(Oh yea - there's also a wallpaper sized version which I'll be uploading soon).

mmmhmm splendid work, although perhaps a different clour is needed in the background, or foreground ( whichever) because its too umm orange, doesnt give enough attention to the statue and your maniping. keep it up and i look forward to the rest

He's got a good point.. everything rocks, I'd just make the outside lighter or darker then the center

dorren: yes it was just the x with no picture.(yes it made sense^^)
chaz:the computer i used for that pic had dial up yes, and the image size only like 6 kb, even though my other ones were 86 kb

It was only loading an image holder? so all you could see was the X thingie but not see the image? (does that make sense?) hehe

I don't think he had errors but his image would not show when he posted it (but he finally got it after a few tries)
