Nice painting but it looks like the guy on the board is flying through the air, is that the way you wanted it or?..>

Stev...This piece paints (in my own way) a day in the life of the childhood of the Wright Brothers. Seems they always had dreams to fly. Apparently according to the story, their mom was very supportive of their dreams. As boys, they wanted the fastest sled ever...their mom helped them to build one. I guess you must know the feeling when your sled 'catches air'. I suppose then, yes, its to look as if flying...and they were indeed fated later, to fly...

Beautifully crafted piece. |

Excellent work as always ... your skill is undeniable! I think the overall yellow/ochre tone was an interesting choice ... to me, it gives the painting more of an autumn feel than a winter one (not a bad thing -- just my opinion! )

Wow! I am so relieved to see someone else on here that does watercolors! My works are not yet up. . .they're kinda big as well. . .who'da thunk?
Well, I love this piece. . . never really thought I'd be saying I like yellow snow. Hmmm...a thought.
Anyways, this is an adorable piece, and I'm curious as to just how big it was. Still trying to get over that barrier with the scanner. Thank you!
Keep smiling. A smile tastes so much better than any other delicacy. |

Nice work. Colorful and playful memories are conjured up when I look at this. Did you use watercolor on this?
