The concept is very cool, but the colors don't mix well enough to keep the viewing interested. I would consider experimenting with the color scheme a bit. Also you may want to add pupils to the eyes, he seems a little empty.

This is a really cool depiction of a dragon. Traditionally and mostly they are shown flying. Really nice to have a change.
