Artist's Comment:
Semi-Final version of a robot I've been working on for a week or so. There is some post-render work done in photoshop to cover up some mesh problems caused when I converted it from max3 to max4 format.

Influences: 5th element, 2000AD
App: modelled in 3dmax3 and rendered in 3Dmax4
Plugins: Brazil 0.2.26 and Character Studio 3.1 (yes it is rigged for animation, but I have yet to tweak the linking so it doesn't animate smoothly)
Time to render: 1hr 30min approx. (undersampled to save time)
PC: 1ghz PIII, 256mb RAM, 8mb video card (Dell optiplex GX-150 workstation)
