My first full Desktop X theme.
Made from Chris Kringle's popular Lavendise Litestep theme. The Magic Forest wallpaper is by Christoph Gerber. Both granted me permission to distribute this theme. Permission emails included in the file.
USABILITY AND CUSTOMIZATION:
I made this theme mainly for myself and is therefore much configured for my system. Most shortcuts in the launch bar on the right margin will most likely not work on your system; therefore it will require for you to delete my icons and replace them with your own. You may actually wish to delete the popups and directly link the icons on the right with your own applications. Feel free to modify and tweak to suit your needs.
The rest of the theme is pretty straighforward and easily customizable. The way I have it set, the fairy with the baby on the top left is My Computer, the butterfly at the bottom left is Network Neighbourhood, the mushroom is the Recycle bin. There is also an email notification graphic: the area where the leprechan is pointing is empty when there is no mail, but a flash appears when email arrives. Right-click and choose "configure" to set it up with your own email settings. The Lavendise title at the top brings a popup showing the credits with proper email and web links. The rest of the icons on the desktop are just quick shortcuts to my mostly used applications. Feel free to change the links to whatever you wish.
2 versions of this theme are available: one for 1024x768 and one for 1280x1024. Other resolutions ay me used, but the objects on the desktop will need to be rearranged and they may overlap. Also, the email notification graphic is sized to fit the size of the background. So if you use a different resolution, you will have to resize those graphics and reposition them.

It's unique but way too crowded in my opinion - maybe it' just the wallpaper that makes it look crowded, though.
