i miss my childhood.
it was beautiful and innocent, carefree and simple, vibrant and colourful,
but we murdered it.
think about it.
the moment we took the 1st step towards forging and finding an identity,
we brutally butchered it.
we let in the gloomy skies and opened the pandoras box.
we left our beautiful childhood behind in wonderland
and stepped into the brutal world.
what we have left are mere fragments of memories of childhood
that we cant really grasp.
but we lie.
we lie to ourselves that by looking at past photos of happy childhood times,
we can feel the same happiness.
so we hang.
we hang and display photos and pictures of our happy childhood,
to attempt to bring it back.
in truth, we are hanging up our dead childhood, that we ourselves murdered with our own bare hands. and to top it up, we look at them ,
and we smile.
think about it.

Well said.....I would never of thought of that before, but it does make sense....in a way. The picture is very brutal, Silent Hill type of thing and goes well with what you wrote, if not a bit extreme. Point made though. Its nice to see someone who adds meaning to their pictures as well as having something that looks good.
I would blame the rip artists for the lack of votes, comments and ratings.

An excellent deeply thought-provoking piece. What u say is true to a point, but think of this irony. It's our childhood which forges our identity to take forth into the 'brutal' world. And that in turn affects how we see and deal with that world. Fantastic piece though. And ur composition is excellent m8. Keep it up.
