Artist's Comment:
Amalgame is the french word for amalgamate, which means to mix, to merge, to bring together. Like this fence and this tree. They probably have been together for more than 100 years, they almost have become one when the trunk of the tree became part of the fence.

The tree litteraly grew thru the fence.
