Artist's Comment:
This is the updated and final version of this piece. There are more textural changes made to this and the removal of "color". I feel it is now a more powerful image. I did not state it before, but the work was inspired by two lines in ttwo poems, one, where i took the title for this picture from 'A Dread Of Thirst' and the second, from the 'Ryme of the Ancient Mariner', specifically the line which goes... 'Water, Water everywhere and all the boards did shrink... Water, Water everywhere and none a drop to drink!'
