Artist's Comment: "Flash Dance" for TALISMAN (update 06 Sept 2003)
========================
Author: Uktus
E-mal: uktus@rambler.ru
Homepage: [ link ]
Screen Resolution: 1024x768 and higher
Program version: Talisman Desktop 2.6 and higher
Note: this update includes a fixed "Lmenu Beta 2" plugin.
This theme was inspired by the recent TOSHIBA TV&magazines advertising. I have used a scanned TOSHIBA image to create the wallpaper. All rights on "Dancing girls" picture belong to TOSHIBA Corp.
TOSHIBA website: www.toshiba.com
Another "startpoint" was a fantastic art of L.Karkuff. I have created all graphical elements around the small "blue glass button" taken from Karkuff's webpage. Karkuff's website: www.blueskyheart.com
And the last part of " FlashDance" is the new great plugin for Talisman: L-Menu (Beta 1).
I have received the beta version of this plugin from Lighttek for testing and have received permission to use it in my new theme. So " FlashDance" is the first demonstrator of this plugin.
L-menu allows to use any Talisman form as an ontop window, like startmenu in WindowsXP.
Plugin is based on the new code of Talisman 2.7 and contains many new functions of this version. Most of such functions are hidden, but I have received info about a new "Calendar" object and have used it in my theme.
Current version of L-menu has some problems of synchronization with "Talisman 2.6" RecentPrograms list and has some small limitations. Final release of L-Menu will be included in the Talisman 2.7 installation.
Enjoy!
