I think it looks nice without a background too. I should go for something dark with rocks and stuff. Kinda a Mordor thing from lotr. I think that would match well. Maybe also an idea to color the works with the pc in future. It would make them a lot better. It's some good work you've got here. Work futher on it I should say.
