Artist's Comment:
There was snow in the forcast for this morning, if you can call what it did snowing, it left enough of the white stuff on the ground to lightly dust everything for a couple hours before it cleared up, got sunny and dissappeared. I took my camera to work with me just in case I saw a photo opportunity on the way home after I got off. I was riding my bike on the way home and sidetracked to pick up a couple job applications and happened by a small forested butte that looked really good with the light dusting of snow on it and snapped a couple pictures. I forgot that I had my camera set at an ISO of 400 so please excuse any grainyness as my camera doesn't really handle anything over an ISO of 100 very well without getting some noise in the shot.
This is two images stitched together manually in photoshop then I basically enlarged the picture to put behind the panorama to fill the negative space on either side then ran a couple filters on the background image to obscure it a little, which isn't really visible in this version but will be quite visible on the 18x24 print I was able to conjour up out of this image.
