Woo! I'm finally submitting something new! This is Kat Cardella, the supporting character in my novel, The Search. She is standing in front of a window on Monroe Moonbase, where she is stationed. She's a character I've been wanting to draw, but have been dreading drawing (because of the hair). She's kind of tough, self-assured, and is the self-proclaimed greatest pilot Monroe has ever seen. But she does have a vulnerable side. Very few just ever see it.
Anyhow, I was trying a few new things in this picture and have been working to improve on a few other things. Hope ya'll like it!

the folds on the pants seem a bit too much for me, and her butt placement or w/e looks a bit wrong to me but it might just be me
however i do like the hair,face basically the WHOLE top half of the picture is REALLY good

Well,the comment's are forthcoming now Aliena, ,i like the character overall,her hair is lovely,her overall appearance is very pretty,LOL Saronix,i love the background,the concept of Human's on other planet's have alway's appealed to me,final frontier and all that,Earth can sometime's be a crowded place,,and this recent Nasa endeavour has me excited,wonderful character,wonderful image,well done Aliena!!!!!

Thanks you guys! Saronix, I don't think it's just you - when I had finished, I thought her bottom posture was a little screwy. And the folds...I'm VERY new at folds. This is my second picture ever to utilize them - that's what I'm working on right now, trying to learn. Heh heh...maybe I should just crop it.
Symethra, thank you for the kind comments! I am trying to finish this novel - I hit 50,000 words for Nanowrimo. I've got humans all over the place. No aliens, though, in my universe. Is that arrogant of me? lol
