Artist's Comment:
This is the heroine in my novella, "The Key to the City" (which can be found on my website...*wink wink*), Elle Lindburgh. "Key" was the first major piece I've ever written, so it's kind of special to me. Anyhow, here's Elle surrounded by nightflowers (which are native to the city I created, Vionelle). I am trying to get all of my main characters from all of my stories drawn for this art exchange group I participate in twice a month (Manga Art Exchange).
What else? Umm...I think the actual picture looks better than the thumbnail - not sure why that is. And I had fun doing the hair. Lots of fun. I think I'm finally figuring out my style!

I should have done the lines a little different. They stand out a little too much. Maybe you could make them a little thinner. The coloring is perfect. I am also doing such a project with coloring at the moment and it's pretty though. Good job.
