Really really nice render here. One of the few terrain pieces that is still barren, yet actually looks good that way. Heh, not to be critical against everyone else, I'm sure I've comitted that "barren boring landscape" "crime" myself, but everyone can appreciate a terrain piece that looks good barren.
Anyway... As I was saying this looks really nice. A "soft" look to it, however it looks "unforgiving" at the same time nearly. The light from the left (assuming the sun) Has a really nice glow onto the terrain, either at sunset or sunrise it looks exceptional I'd say. Not to mention that it looks as though there is either some dirt and sand still floating around, or it's some sort of fog that gives the light a really nice technique to adding to the pictures overall display. The sky as well easily flows with the rest of the picture by not taking too much away from the land itself as well. My only thing to say that you could do to "improve" would be to perhaps add something near the horizon. Something that perhaps suggests a ruined city or something that gives way to "abondonment".
Heh, this piece reminds me of Fallout. Anyway, excellent job with this. Make more! |

It is nice, the foggy type feel to it really helps it out a lot.
