What a lovely picture! The flowers don't seem all that bad looking, they look as if they're still really good to sell. But I guess I understand why the lady was going to throw them away. The flowers have a bit of an "exhausted" look to them which really enhances the entire picture. It's nearly better than one of those "perfect" pictures of flower(s). The border is a really nice effect too, also enhancing the rest of the picture to actually give that "tattered" yet still beautiful look. Excellent find on those flowers, and good picture as well!

It's very subtle. I like the one red rose. Sorta blood red. This piece is beautiful!
