I swear I uploaded this weeks ago.. alas AU says I didn't.. I think I had also gotten a feature. Reeeally odd. Some other things I had uploaded are gone, too. What's up, AU?
Anyways, this is *I believe* the 6th in my concentration of psychological diseases--Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.
This is a mixed media piece. It began with paper I had made--blue construction paper with acrylics and tissue papers glued with starch. Then, I pen and inked in the figure and pictures, and watercolored the rest.
People with OCD generally are obsessive about someting and are compulsive with this obsession (hence OCD). Here is one type in which this girl must have everything perfectly straight and arranged. She is straightening all of her pictures. The background is chaotic, though. People with OCD have a hard time dealing with the chaos in the world that disrupts their attempts to keep things perfect. In each picture frame, there is something relating to OCD.
