WONDERFUL!!! I love this piece! I couldn't've asked for any bit of a better...photograph? It doesn't matter I guess, it's still a wonderful picture to look at! I'll assume that it's a photograph, just because it must be really hard to create that in photoshop or whatever and have it come out this excellent. However, if you did create it from "nothing" then a big congratulations from my side of...the internet? Oh well, as I was trying to say before that, I really like the closeness of this picture. Just how much detail you can see in this picture, every little depression in the flower and small heights, it makes the entire picture wonderful to look at. Having the picture as dark as it is, is a wonderful technique/effect! Because of it being so dark the more subtle things in it eventually catch your attention when you/I look across it. Like those "leafy" things laying across part of the lower end of the flower. I'm not sure what they're called, but they're a nice subtlety, if that's even spelled correctly? Oh well, anyway, the darkness that surrounds the flower, plus the smaller things in the picture, and of course the flower itself looks really wonderful. It's my new background! Yay, thank you for contributing this to AU. I'm now in love with another one of your works. I couldn't live without them! |

i have no idea how you do it hon. this has to be the most beautiful shot yet..so simply awsome, its is so breath-taking and so utterly amazing that there is such an intimate feeling to it and the darkness coupled with the varying shades of red is exquisite! the rose itself always has a soft feel to it and yet in this pic you not only feel that softness but something else due to the dark involved. *hugs tirzah*
BRAVO! |

LOVELY! You're pictures are coming to new heights Tirzah. I'm serious, these photos are getting more and more excellent. I like this one very much. It's closed, yet open. Now what I get emotionally from it is that it wants to be open to the world but must hide its flaws. I don't know if that is exactly what you were thinking, but it came to mind when I looked it at. Great job!
I hope everyone suffers because with suffering comes gratitude |
