i am just curious why you chose to put circles in the background? i don't feel that it relates well with the image although it does make the two figures stand out. i do like the two figures and i like the idea. If you were to make this a real card i would suggest maybe cutting off the poem on the cover and continue it with a funny line when they read the inside. you prob know that though. lol. i like the general color. it gives a nice warm feel.
