Artist's Comment: Its a work in progress...Ive been adding to this for a while...
I know alot of people...that could go so many places...if only they knew what was inside them...if only they could realise theyre purpose...

Impatience and insecurities
Hopless lost in her own promiscuity
Smiles at all the boys
Crying at her relfection
Unaware of her beautiful perfection
Each night layers of mascara fall from her eyes
She knows what hides behind her disguise
She knows something just isn't right
But she doesnt have the strength to fight
Just takes the pills to make it dissapear
How could she know she know tonight she would shed her last tears
Gang violence and broken homes
Hanging with his crew but feeling alone
How many bullets
How many more years
Always living his life in fear
Paranoia and looking over his shoulders
Gun slinging to make him look bolder
He was just a scared little boy inside
Trying to behind this so called life...
Some one crept up on him one night
He scrambled and searched his pockets for a knife
But all he found was a gun
Hed never given killed anyone
But this night it wasnt like the guys had said...it wasnt fun
Because just for chosing a bad time and wrong place
He panicked, pulled the trigger, and shot his mother in the face
Smart quiet a bit naive
Shy girl with her heart on her sleeve
In the backseat she felt so perfect
Lost her virginity and respect
Got a baby and a disease
Each night crying on her knees
He parents found out and called her a whore
Kicked her out. She left screaming . Silenced by a slammed door.
Now she searches for the love she thought she had
in all the wrong places
Street corners needles and strange faces...
Broken hearts and forgotten dreams
Lives ripped apart at the seams
Neglected and shut out to moral decay
Never told it didnt have to be that way
If only we'd realise our responsibility to share
With people who are different show them we care-
for them and show them they are so much more
Just open the door-and watch them soar
