no do NOT get rid of the blue at the top of the skins - they would be incomplete without the blue. i do think the icons should be better incorporated or even eliminated from the skin. for instance, i REALLY like the coolplayer skin, but the yellow smiley face sticks out like a sore thumb. make it shades of blue or shades or white,grey, and black. and get rid of the baby blue circle around the icons. that's my opinion.

Nice design, like the flat look and the colors...on the icons maybe take imtoo's advice or monochrome them, if that makes sense.
