part of an on working piece titled Onthology of Being.
bascially this depicts the quest for self, who and what we really are.
About the nakedness of us minus all wordly possessions.
What are we really powerd by ? what is really within us?
deconstruction and disintergration is the way to understand, to realise.
By taking apart the pieces that decorate us, we put together the core that is us.
We are so connected to the world that we fashioned ourselves after it. We are no long us, I am not I, you are not you, but we are us, i am what u are not what i am. Only by plugging into the real;isty and society can we see our face , or rather , a face that represents us. If every we unplug from the world, dont talk, dont look, dont hear, we get no replys, and hence no comfirmation of our living states, there will be darness and our face , us , will simply melt away.

Spoke is right, comments are definately low for a great piece like this. Nobody appreciates dark art anymore, but I think it is the most beautiful. What you did what awesome! Very nice use of stock. Can't wait for the next onslaught to the sloo of Onthology of Being. I hope you aren't discouraged by the lack of comments too. People are so unappreciative sometimes!

I find the textures interesting.Although the image is not well directed it has no focal point where the viewers eyes end up as they travel the assorted objects.The first thing the eye see is a very large spot light which directs you to a mask-face which cause the viewer to have to look for direction finding no continuity like looking in a storage closet disturbing but pointless.I do not know what a onthology is but the search for self is different for all but you talk about a search of being in all yet your objects are very one sided pointing only to a female torso although dark in look very socialized in display like a macy's maniquin .A more asexual object for the torso with the light more subdued from above and the focus object more self illumanating would make your concept more interesting and state the point you express in the discription Please don't take offense at my age I'm teaching class and just pointing out some long time rules of illustration or if you prefer graphic design.Love your use of color and texture to set the emotion.
