Wow! Now see, many people will not look at this and see the beauty in it. They've been so preconditioned by the media that this piece will be uninteresting to them. I, however, am quite impressed by the piece (haven't seen tempera paint used in quite awhile) and the words which accompany it.

I agree with liquidd when he says that most won't find beauty in this. I find this amazingly gorgeus. The hues, the lighting, the pose. It all seems to piece together into this amazing work. I love the feel too. I LOVE that she is pregnant, it makes the feel of "_____ is gone" even though it's summer. It makes you feel like more than just summer is gone for her. I kinda feel pity.
