Just as I thought... this looks great! Liek a road I would never walk alone. The b&w contrast give it so much feeling as opposed to the color version. Very nice job.

*sigh* In short, you sold out, wolf. Everyone saw a spooky road at first and therefore you made it a spooky road, thereby effectively sending out the message that you were unsure of this piece from the moment of it's conception.
This piece is now an expression of how other people would have created it, not you.
It's good to listen to the suggestions of others, but don't let them shape your artistic expression to such a degree that the art becomes their work and no longer your own. I was one of the people who saw the spooky potential of this piece, but I was hoping you'd go in a completely different direction than what everyone was telling you.
At any rate, on the plus side, you got a highlight And although prodded by others, you did do a wonderful job in darkening and altering the piece to b/w. So, kudos on that feat.

Well, I'll be 100% honest.
You're right in saying I was unsure of the piece at first, as I DID start out doing it as a B&W piece. I still prefer the color shot, but I really did want to see how a different take on the same subject would be accepted by folks. It's very rare I alter a work, be it a photo, a render or whatever, but this one time I relented. |

PS..I still think a dark blue of this would look good. |
