Top notch, wanz! Skillful use of shading, contrast, highlighting, and perspective. Pencil, another medium I have just let fall by the wayside over the years. I miss doing pieces such as this just for the sheer fun of doing it. As of recent years, I only do pencil portraits when commissioned, but you've put a wild hair up my rear with this piece. LOL! I want to get back to my realistic pencil days again now. Thanks for the inspiration,wanz.

i wonder how long this took to accomplish.. drawing realistically is always hard, and you've achieved that.. although i could say that the ear and neck doesn't look too convincing..
