just a dead tree in the middle of a big meadow, on skyline drive in VA. midday sun sucks, but that's when i was there. still not bad really coming from a 2.0megapixel camera.

was this orginally in color? there are ways to compensate for midday sun with a computer. its tedious but possible Emotion Icon

no, actually it was taken in B&W. i did adjust to brightness and contrast a very little in photoshop. any suggestions on making it better would be nice. i still have the original.

very nice... the clouds really give this an ominous look. I personally would mess around with the levels a bit just to add to the mood. Other than that I wouldn't get into too many filters as you are working with a 2.0mp image and you don't want to add anymore noise.
