Artist's Comment:
The first piece in my Phoenix Series, whereby I digitally redo some of my earlier works (giving them a face lift, as it were). This piece was originally entitled "Chance Broken" and can be found here:

I've renamed Chance. Her new name is Acasca.
Name: Acasca (Aw-cask-uh)
Race: Ivory/Scuro
Age : 1596
Hair: Color changes in corellation to the Sorchen lunar cycle (reddish brown, white, or deep blue)
Eyes: Base color is hazel, however luminescent flecks within the eyes are constantly changing thereby giving the appearance her eye color has changed.
Height: 5 in.
Weight: 1 lbs.
Birthplace: Sorche'
Lineage: Common Ivory
Background: The birth of Acasca occured during The Dark Inception, a period of war between the fairy like races of Sorche, Ivory and Scuro. She was the daughter of two lovers, one Scuro and the other Ivory, who hid their affections from each of their races. In an attempt to quell the era spanning feud between the two races, The leader of the Ivories (Pashe) and his lover (Caupis) of the Scuro, announced the birth of their child. A birth which was supposed to usher in a new era of peace and unity between the races by showing that the two races could live in harmony.
Peace was eventually attained, however, it was merely a momentary reprieve. Acasca's story unfolds within the world of Sorche.

Nice makeover. It actually makes a huge difference, which isn't usual in makeovers. If only remixed songs were this good.

I love the color combination that you choose. Blue and yellow have always looked good together to me. It also looks like her wing has been torn. Really good idea to create that look. Very dazzling to me with the flex of dust I guess you could say at the lower part of the picture. Behind her back and through her hair.
Wish my hair still looked that color. It's so pretty and you've got a really good eye for the highlights of it. My hair used to look exactly like that in the sun. Wonderful.
