You both are assuming that it is a monster. Perhaps it is an ancient druid priestess descending into a chamber. And what appears as horns on the head could actually be a form of headdress. But we are all in agreeance on one thing about this piece, more detail is needed on the figure. Perhaps then the mystery of what this being truly is could be caused less by what we can't see and more by what we can.
At any rate, nice manip, houk.

I saw a woman at first glance also, but then after staring at it for a min it did start to appear as a beast as well. At any rate I think that this piece is amazing looks more like a painting than a photo manip. Nice work.
