Artist's Comment:
This character evolved out of some experimentation. I was playing around a bit with lightning and surfacing and came up with some stuff that I found intriguing, so I let the character grow into this theme with black and white grainyness.

The character is entirely made in Lightwave 3D. The surfacing is procedurals with weightmaps for details and some usage of the G2 shader for SSS and the grain. The hair is made with splineguides and rendered via the Sasquatch hair plugin for Lightwave.
