A bit too jaggy. If this was done in Bryce, I'd highly recommend rendering at a MUCH higher res, and at 64 rays per pixel. |

well, bryce and photoshop. I rendered (as i do ALL my pictures)at the highest possible. But, I took it into photoshop and made the lines. and blured out the bottom balls. Yes I know, but it was my first attempt at stickin it into photoshop after using bryce.

Yeah, I used to run into the EXACT same thing. What res was it rendered at? Were the lines created, then the pic shrunk down? If that is the case, some creative use of a blur brush may be in order. Nice work |

1024 my friend... its the most desktop friendly i think.

Ahhh... I would always render at 1600x1200 at the very least. Trust me on this. You get alot more detail in the end. |
 |
1600x1200!!!!!! Are you mad?! No, maybe not. but still... Well, what about the people who have monitors that only go up to 1128 (me.)?

Hehe.. Simple. Render BIG, and downsample. I render terragen stuff at 4800x3600, then resample in Photoshop. Cures 99% of my aliasing issues. In Bryce, go for 1600x1200. You can always shrink it and not lose detail. Alot of people run HIGH res nowadays. |
 |
Wai wai wait... You can do that with photoshop? I'm just startin with it. Hey, nice terragen stuff by the way.
