Artist's Comment:
Two months of blood, sweat, tears, and pink paint. I'm still caked with all. I will be happy if I never have to paint another rose again.
This piece has been the largest, longest, and most uniquely challenging piece I've completed so far. I've been in contact with the subject throughout the entire two months I've worked on it. Lisa is a girl I met through a mutual friend in high school and we've stayed friends since. This piece is a part of a series that I will be working on for the rest of my natural life. The loose title is simply "Friends", as they're simply paintings of everyone who's ever been a dear friend to me. Currently, I have roughly ten lined up, so I have to at least live until I'm thirty (image one painting a year, and not making any new friends). The kicker? The friend has dibs on the original. If they pass up the dibs option, I sell. In this case, Lisa has chosen to buy it when she gets cash and can make a decent offer.
18 x 24 1/2 inches, Acrylics on Drywall.

A better freakin' picture of it available shortly too. It's really hard to take a clear, squared picture of a painting hoving 5 feet up in the air on a bare metal chair in pink fuzzy slippers.
