Self Portrait with Mental Warehouse

The "mental warehouse" idea was shanghaied from Stephen King's Dreamcatcher. It's an excellent concept, and I figured I could make it work. Squee (the big-headed kid hiding behind me) is from Jhonen Vasquez' Johnny The Homicidal Maniac and Squee's Wonderful Big Giant Book of Unspeakable Horrors, both of which I was a huge fan of at the time.

Circa 2003.

Graphite on posterboard. 17 1/2 by 22 1/2 inches. Completed in about 20 hours total (including a 12 hour all-nighter the day before it was due.)
