Very rare that I do this, but I've decided to share one of the methods I use for computer art. I'll be posting it in a tutorial fashion and you'll see each stage from conception to finish as I go along. Enjoy!

6th Stage: Final Detail

Objective: If you've taken care of Stage 5 properly then you don't have much to do in this stage except add the final details to your piece.
I used alot of the Effects Tool called Lens Flare for the glowing effects, finished the accessories, shaped the blades of grass, and finished the background. As I said earlier, you can finish the background in Stage 5 if you wish. I, personally, usually work the background last because I often use colors from the background on parts of my base image and vice versa, to give my pieces more unity.

Hope my tutorial has given at least one person some useful tips. If not, feel free to ask me questions if you have them. I can't guarantee an immediate response, but hopefully I can provide a timely one. Emotion Icon

Stev - Because she's a fantasy being. Bright glowing eyes tend to appear like that, at least when you dispel reality and use imagination instead of logic. it52 - You didn't read the tutorial, did you? Oh well, it's because she is immersed in mist. I could have made it cover more of her body, but then all of that wonderful detail would have been obscured. I've always loved this chick- she's gorgeous. I also loved how you created her and did it all in steps. I will need that in the future as I really want a Wacom myself! :-)

My turn. It's been a busy weekend, but I had to pop on and see what was posted, I'm really glad I did. This is amazing stuff, hard for me to describe, but I'll try. Her form is well stated and proud. Excellent use of color, shading and yes, "lens flair". The feathers on the wings make me come back again and again, the time spent on this piece was well worth it, thanks liquidd.

[part2] one of my fav artists M.Shirow did a peice for intron depot 2. and i was looking for a DROW picture , and take a guess what i found there on devi.. a BITCH ripped the image off and recolored it , then when i called her on it she gave me greif . saying that she did nothing wrong . so i reported her ass to Shirow's publisher.
