Another picture from the Isle of Bute - reluctantly uploading this, as the quality shift from the print to the scanned image here is just so much poorer. However, there is a story for this photo too, so here we go.
This camping trip was for my 20th birthday in April 2004. We took a walk along the shore - I was a bit mashed what with it being my birthday and everything (kept my distance from the water though to avoid accidents, I'm not mad!!) and dismissed my mate when he was pointing at seals. I insisted that they were rocks, coz I couldn't see anythin' movin', you know??! Well, anyway, turns out he was right!! They were just completely static, basking in the sea enjoying the gorgeous sunshine!!
Anyway, when I finally realised they were infact seals, I took a pic of them, but couldn't get too close coz I was mashed and convinced I would scare them away too easily. You can see four of them in this pic just behind the ACTUAL rocks....(I feel like a blind fool!!)
