I have a piece similar to this, only my fairy (Ivory) is laying on the leaf. Great minds create alike I suppose
+ nice design and composition
+ balanced and colorful
+ simplicity and visual impact used nicely
+ good transparency technique used on wing
+ good movement within the piece
- the design of the costume is fine, but the color leaves a bit to be desired (only my opinion though)

Your shading in this is just wonderful .. I love how you really made the wings stand out yet still made them look transparent and delicate .. and the colors you chose for this .. really fit this picture perfectly .. they're soft and compliment each other well .. yet they're bright enough to stand out and make this picture fun and cheery .. I think you did an amazing job on this and congrats on having it highlighted .. it definately deserves it
