Artist's Comment:
This is my first play around with Macro. This tiny brass Ganesh is no more than 2cm in height.

I have a long way to go before I can use this technique well, however I thought some of you may appreciate the colours of the leaves and candles scattered around the subject.

I'm the world's worst photographer - the original child decapitator - and I always have to rescue my pix! Thus you have my total admiration. This piece is beautifully composed, and the brightly coloured scraps around Ganesh are so reminiscent of Indian saris. yddraig0

Macro photography can be tough. you usually need more than a camera and a good, make that great macro lens. a tripod can be quite helpful on stationary objects and a diffused/bounce flash. This is a great try... the colors are beautiful. Keep at it... macro photography, while being quite irritating can also be quite rewarding. Emotion Icon

I don't think he had errors but his image would not show when he posted it (but he finally got it after a few tries)
