Artist's Comment:
Based on an original illustration for a children's tale I wrote ... about Gordon the greedy gourmet gourami who wanted to eat every exotic food he could find.

He spotted the reflection of the moon, decided it would be a tasty dish, and after a number of unsuccessful attempts, ended up swallowing a large pearl in error.

Which made him rather ill ... poor Gordon.

The color-phasing makes this work look like a stained glass window. Wish I had the opportunity to read the rest of the story and check out the illustrations.

[part2] one of my fav artists M.Shirow did a peice for intron depot 2. and i was looking for a DROW picture , and take a guess what i found there on devi.. a BITCH ripped the image off and recolored it , then when i called her on it she gave me greif . saying that she did nothing wrong . so i reported her ass to Shirow's publisher.
