LoL.. i TOTALLY KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN.... I have been at the beach 2x in the past two weeks.. and i have tried the same thing.... Those birds just have the perfect way of flying out of the shot.. right when u get it focused in... great job with being able to capture it....
and i think for fow hard it is to do.. you should get 10* :D

Bravo, The focus is dead on. I went to our local aquarium this past weekend and tried to get a good shot of penguins swimming, but alas, I've been foiled.
