I think is a very classic looking design, nicely done, but a bit to classic for a place as rockin' as the Hard Rock. That place is all about rock&roll and all it embodies... flash and in your face... larger than life. Not that they need a new logo, but when designing such, you really have to take the atmosphere into accout and what image they want to present. Just some thoughts... I haven't really designed much more than a few projects for friends.
