A commission for JBourlett [ link ] of his characters Sharrd (left), half elven ranger and twin sister Sherilynn, half elven cleric as they bar the entrance to a place they have chosen to protect. Sherilynn does so out of duty and Sharrd merely protects his sister. There is alot to be told in this piece, despite it's static posed appearance. For instance, the runic markings on Sherilyn's hammer is what allows her to wield it despite her small build. I suggest contacting their creator and finding out more about his project, Seven Swords.
This piece was actually started and done on my old pc, I only did a few touch ups to a preview image I sent to Johhny Bourlett before my old pc died and I recently asked him for the image instead of having to redo the entire piece. It actually suffers visually because of that :/ Still, I had fun doing the piece.

somehow I missed this one... what a great piece. The folds in the fabric have such a realistic movement and the leather boots, WOW... your use of shading and texture is amazing!

has been a while since I commented on you works. I really love this. How long did this take? Love the details and colours... how is she able to hold this huge hammer?! Wonderful work

This one took forever actually. I wish I could say it only took about 30 or so hours, but I worked on it off and on for over a month (total of about a week and a half). From what the guy who commissioned the piece told me, she is able to hold the hammer because it is magical (the runic markings on the head of the hammer are what allow her to wield it).
