Artist's Comment:
Love is a fickle emotion. Hot and intense one moment then bitter and cold the next. A gamble of the heart. Infatuation, on the other hand, is far more forgiving, but it too can hurt. Especially when it is confused as love. Such was the case of Felicia Hardy aka Black Cat who wanted to be with Spiderman and for a time got her wish. But the romance was short lived because Felicia could not love Peter Parker the man, she was too infatuated with Spiderman.
Black Cat is a fine looking woman and since I had to try out the Wacom Graphire tablet I won in Drakhenliche's [ link ] contest I figured I create this piece. A few pieces of symbolism are strewn about in it for good measure.

tirzah - Thanks for the comment and highlight, tirz! :D Yes,I DO LOVE my tablet! It works perfectly with Marilyn II (my new pc). Need a larger drawing area on the tablet though, but it definitely is much faster, fluid, and productive than mouse painting.
