I love Bill Nighy in this role as Vampire Elder Viktor from Underworld, besides Michael Sheen who played Lucien.
This drawing is for me one of my important drawings I have ever done, this was a test to my patience and I think it was worth it to try and keep doing, I wanted to quit this more than once.... enough babbling from me

Material: pencil, graphite, keadable eraser, much coffee, some popcorn and favourite music (for not going amok during drawing)

I was wondering when you'd be back through AU, Nina. You've done a beautiful piece yet again. I kind of miss doing more traditional pieces when I look at work like this. Digital has me spoiled  .

This looks wonderful in pencil. The shape and proportions of the head are perfect. I love the shading of the helmet and the fine details you added such as the scratches and texture on the helmet itself, the short hairs of his beard, and the delicate curve of his nostril. This looks so life-like I can imagine him turning his head towards me and speaking ^^ Excellent!

wow. love it. even though i am more along the lines as cheering for the lycans, this is an excellent piece. love the pencil work. a lot of patience

Yet, I haven't got a chance to watch the movie, but your rendering of this subject is such intrigue and fine.
In today's IT world, you still the pencil work at its best and producing an astonishing picture (or should I mentioned it PHOTO).
Btw, how many pencils do you needed to finish this work?
