Artist's Comment: Back in the 60's and 70's the north-east part of Montreal got a economic boom with textiles industries. Nowadays we have what's left of the sweat shop and the fashion warehouse. Still home to big names, these workshop are still the place to find thousands of women sitting behind a sewing machine.
when I go to these places on Sundays, when the building are closed, I have a feel of what these buildings could say if they could talk.
I'd like to show you in Google Earth as I usually do, but a major cloud is exactly over where this place is and we can't see a damn thing.
