I like the sky but I don't like the building. No not my favorite. You could do the sky better. Work on it.

This is a wonderful image in a classic style. The towering, looming old houe reaching into the sky really is scary, but also acts as a visual director; aiming your eyes at the sky. The sky itself is wonderfully textured and really uses the light well. The colours are bold and daring for the shot but work so well. The house is excellently shaded and really is dominating in this piece.
The red on window frames really does make them look like evil eyes, and the support structure like teeth; wonderful imagery in a work like this. I love the darkened edges as this not only frames and balances the piece, but really adds intrigue to it as well. The sky has enough colour in it to really make the house seem more intriguing than scary and the broken clouds are a classic movie motivator used properly.
This reminds me of the Bates house in Psycho. It is a truly wonderful piece and completed with oodles of skill and style. Thank you for sharing your fine work.

The sky really has a nice fantasy based feel to it and I think it's that fact which makes the building structure seem out of place. Still, I think this is a nicely done piece, schnupa.
