Artist's Comment: NOTE: This skin REQUIRES WindowBlinds version 3.1 or above.
Update: 18/02/02 - v1.5: Added support for vertical taskbars. Changed vertical scrollbars - now you can see the scrollbars when using a dark custom color. Fixed several small things and finally upped the version number.
A metal and glass skin in green as standard, or any other color through use of custom color versions. Standard version includes extra titlebar controls for 'Always On Top', 'Roll-up' and a customizable applications menu using 'WBWinMenu 2.1'. Plus version also includes a WinAmp/CoolPlayer control bar with song title view using 'WBAmp', and a multi-format clock using 'CClock'. All versions also include full Windows XP taskbar and Start menu for those with Windows XP.
This skin was created for the 2002 GUI Olympics organised by Stardock, makers of WindowBlinds. The author was representing Velocity Art ([ link ]) in the competition.

seems to be nice but impossible to download it :-( |
very nice looking skin |
the download works fine for me neophil. you sure you're doing it right? |
yep i'm sure,it's downloading itself in trmporary folder without asking me anything and nothing's there after :-(
anyway, same thing is matching with some others skins here... a site issue ?? |
...huum, the download with a left click is not working as i said, but with a right click and "save target as" it works ... |
neophil>> WindowBlinds skins are contained in renamed zip files with the extention '.wba'. When you left click on the download link, your machine is simply handling the file like it would any other .wba file on your machine, only it has to download it first. In most cases, once the skin has downloaded, it installs into your WB directory, so you should just be able to go to your Display Properties and select the skin from the list. When this doesn't work, you need to right-click on the link and 'Save as'. |
