The piece on a whole looks great, especially since you're only experimenting. Nice placement. On the downside, however, I don't like the five points of lights (lens flare?). Personally, that's such a cliche' useage of that particular effect and it kind of cheeses what would otherwise be a very cool piece. Just my opinion.
