Artist's Comment: Made this for some linux enthusiast friends of mine. Also inspired by Microsoft's new licensing scheme.
"The history files tell us how the dot-com wars ravaged our way of life centuries ago. What technology that we do still grasp is shared freely, ensuring its development and dispersal. Things are peaceful and people enjoy their technology freely. Open source is not an option; it’s the way of life. Legends tell of an ancient faction focused on dominating such technology. The same faction that provided fuel for the spark that ignited the dot-com wars. But most believe it’s a myth. Until now…."
